ACTIVITIES DONE BY SMKTPG MUET TEAM

SMKTPG  recently organised a program to enhance the abilties and confidence of student to speak in english for all Pre- University students in the school. The program was conducted to enable students to speak to foreigners from all around the world in english with the moto of " Confidence Towards Excellency "

Place: KUALA LUMPUR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT 2

Date: 28th MARCH 2017

Participants: Upper six students of Preuniversity of SMKTPG

Organised by: MUET Unit 

Objectives of the program: 

- to increase the confidence level to speak in English

- to improve the skills of speaking in English

Facilitators: All Muet teachers of SMKTPG and other form 6 teachers

Activities: 

Day 1 – 

· Briefing by teachers and breakfast

· Upon reaching to KLIA 2, students are dividied into groups of four to look for possible 

  foreigners that can speak in English

· Group activities which is speaking to 2 foreigners for aleast 2 minutes for each person. 

Sum Up:

- Students were able to speak confidently with foreigners in English

- Foreigners were happy and amaze by Malaysian students whom are trying hard to 

 improve studies and capabilities to speak in English.

After the program ends, all students and teachers head to the Mitsui Outlet Park for some fun and shopping.
